Strong Curriculum. Faster Response. Better Results.
Next Gen Math now integrates directly with Math Nation California and STEMscopes California Math core curriculum — giving teachers ready-to-use assessments matched to their exact curriculum, and a fast path from results to instruction.

Two Strong Curricula, One System for Assessment and Response.
Accelerate Learning and Next Gen Math have partnered to give California math educators a fast, accurate read on student understanding — and the tools to act on it immediately, without leaving their core curriculum.
Next Gen Math now provides pre-built assessments aligned directly to the units, chapters, and lessons in Math Nation California and STEMscopes California Math. Teachers get standards-aligned resources that follow the pacing and organization they already use, so checking for understanding fits inside daily instruction instead of adding to it.
Built to Match How You Already Teach
Each integration keeps the terminology and structure of its curriculum, so nothing feels bolted on:
- Math Nation California — organized by unit and lesson, available for grades K–12 including traditional and Integrated Math high school courses.
- STEMscopes California Math — organized by scope and Explore, available for grades K–8 and Algebra 1.
Teachers select a grade level and course, then see every corresponding unit or scope inside Next Gen Math — pacing, number of lessons, content standards, and available assessments, all at a glance.
Assessment for Every Level of the Curriculum
Every unit and scope comes with three prewritten resource types, ready to assign as-is or customize in the Next Gen Math Standards Builder:
- Unit/Scope Assessments — comprehensive checks covering all lessons or Explores in that unit or scope, typically around 20 questions with an estimated completion time.
- Weekly Quick Checks — short, standards-aligned checks matched to what’s taught that week.
- Exit Tickets — three-question checks for individual lessons or Explores, including optional ones, with direct links back to the corresponding lesson.
Teachers can preview, print, or assign any resource in a click — or open Customize to add or remove questions, adjust the count, or pull in additional standards-aligned content.
When Results Come In, Teachers Already Know What’s Next
Assessment is only half the system. Once results are in, teachers can see student progress by standard directly inside Next Gen Math and build a Tier 2 or Tier 3 activity in a few clicks — matched to what students missed or mastered, and pulled from the same Math Nation or STEMscopes content already assigned.
That means intervention and acceleration stay inside the curriculum teachers are already using, sorted automatically into the right tier for each student, so the next instructional move is never a guess.
After intervention, teachers can assign a retake of the original assessment — both attempts stay linked in the same results summary, making growth easy to see and easy to report.

Readiness Built Into Every Day, Not Just Before the Test
Next Gen Math’s question bank is built to match the rigor, format, and cognitive demand of the state assessment — so students build readiness through everyday instruction rather than last-minute test prep. Every question, assignment, and data point maps to Common Core standards by claim, domain, cluster, target, and depth of knowledge, and priority standards are flagged so instructional time goes where it counts most.
Paired with Math Nation California or STEMscopes California Math, districts get one connected system: strong core curriculum, fast formative assessment, and a clear path to Tier 2/Tier 3 response — without adding time to the school day.
